20231121
Hello everyone!
As you can see, there was no bike touring this summer. I have been busy with my spiritual journey and personal development. Simply was/am a hermit. I've been to myself a lot. And a lot has happened.
I update the page all the time with new videos and other things. It takes a very long time to post video links, can take up to 20 min for a link. Can't figure it out at the moment. If you follow the links to Telegram and Instagram, there is much more news there.
Feel free to ask if there is anything you are wondering about. Best is via email.
I wish you a fantastic winter! And remember: "Everything happens for a reason, nothing happens by chance. Coincidence does not exist". What happens in the world happens for humanity to wake up and remember who we are. It looks dark, but it is as it should be for people to wake up. Everything is as it should be. And everything will be very, very wonderful!

Lots of love and light to YOU!!!

20221104.
I've ended up in an apartment now and will avoid the tent for a while. Have only taken a few short trips with the bike in the area. Cycling itself will probably start more after this winter that awaits us. I write a lot in the blog for those of you who are interested in it. Welcome there.

20220915
Have taken me to my youngest son Joel and my bonus daughter Linn, with the help of my eldest son Jonatan, thanks for the help Jonatan! And stay with them until Monday. Nice to get into the warmth and and clean sheets for a while. The cycle tour with packing this year was 3530 km. Total cycling so far is 3920 km. And there will probably be more before the snow arrives in this cold country.

20220910
Coffee in the forest in the real way.
Tastes sooo good. Will try to post a small video under the video tab.

20220908. Day 39
Last day of this cycling trip. Which has completely changed me inside. The day ends in Sala, where I went and had food and coffee with my good friends Janne and Lena. So nice to see you again. Love you. Then it was time for the tent again up by a lake called Stensjön. Now I need to find a cabin outside this town to live in. But my journey continues. And I will continue with the page and cycling of course. Thanks for following me on this trip. So to be continued.....
Love and light to you!

20220907 Day 38
Today I cycled from Strömsholm to a small town called Hallsta, between Västerås and Sala. Stopped in and talked to Per on Sahlberg's bike in Västerås for a while. In the evening, my son Jonatan and my grandson Vide came to visit the tent. So lovely to see you again! Love you guys!

20220906. Day 37
Today I cycled from Berga to Stömsholm Castle. My legs are starting to ache, so it's probably time for a longer rest. But it's not that far to Sala now. Met a nice touring cyclist named Rolf (Roffe). We talked for quite a while. He cycles 1000 km every autumn. He has also cycled all the way down to the Spanish south coast a few years ago. Hope you have a wonderful cycling trip Rolf!

20220905. Day 36
Cycled from Brevens bruk to a small place called Berga, south of Eskilstuna. Starting to get quite tired in the legs, but it was a good cycling day after all. Cycled past a nice farm and a man called Robban came out of a garage. We talked for a long time, had a lot in common. A very nice man that I hope to meet again! Got a tip from him about a nice tent spot. Then he gave me a freshly smoked perch for dinner. Probably the best fish I've ever eaten! Many thanks Robban for the chat, the very good fish and tent place! You made my day you know! Namaste!

20220904. Day 35
Today I cycled from Snavlunda to a small village called Brevens bruk. My legs didn't want to participate at all today. Getting very tired. It has been tough since Gothenburg. Stopped and asked a kind lady about water in a house. She gave me a tip about a tent site at a bathing place. Really nice place. There is a freesbee golf course around here.

A nice place to rest tired legs and head

20220903. Day 34
Today I cycled a little north of Askersund, to a small village called Snavlunda. Light rain all day. The first half was really good. But between Tiveden and Askersund it was up and down all the time. Steep down and steep up. Was completely done when I asked a man who was carpentry in his garage if he knew where I could pitch my tent. I was allowed to camp on his land by the side of the road.

20220902. Day 33
Today I cycled from Larv to Beateberg. It was a good cycling day, but not much photography. Nature changes a lot for the better when you come to Hornborgasjön. Met a man named Håkan towards the end of the day. We talked for a while and I got tips about a tent site at a bathing spot from him. A very nice man.

Solöga writes in her book about the Dragonfly: "You have a great spiritual gift - use it. My gift to you is to have a strong intuition."

20220901. Day 32
Today I cycled to Naturum at Hornborgarsjön. Was a pretty tough day on the bike again today. Met three cyclists who were out training, the last one extended his hand and smiled big. It gave me energy, thank you angel! Stopped in Broddetorp and had a very good pizza. Met a man named Niklas there. I asked if he knew any good camping spots by the lake? He called down to the Nature Center and asked if camping was allowed, which it was. If you are reading this Niklas, thank you very much. Standing on the headland and enjoying birdsong!

Naturum at Hornborgarsjön

Good night! Love and light to you!

20220831. Day 31
Cycled to a small village called Larv today. Just agricultural scenery all the way, and the lovely headwind. So there were no photos at all. Tough day at work. Asked a man in Larv if he knew a good tent site. I was allowed to camp in his garden, very kind of him. I was exhausted in both legs and head.

20220830. Day 30
Today I cycled to Alingsås. Very steep slopes here in the area, and an absolutely wonderful headwind all the time. Met a man at a racer in Floda who helped me along the way, even waited for me to help me. We talked a lot. Didn't get your name but thank you very much. Then right after I met Roger on a bicycle. Which helped me to a wonderful road to Alingsås on an old railway. We talked for a long time with each other. Two meetings that made my day today. Many thanks to you for being there. Now I am at Lövkulle camping in Alingsås. They didn't tell me when booking that they would lay asphalt at 07:00 in the morning. Woke up sitting up. Will not enter that campsite again.

20220829. Day 29
Cycled from Gressela camp to Gothenburg central station and finished the Kattegattle trail today. It was a risk of life to venture into central Gothenburg. With a little sadness in my heart to leave the sea after a month. Then cycled on and found a place to pitch the tent with the help of a landowner. Outside Gothenburg, I met a cycling couple from the French Alps who had been out since February, Marine & Gabriel. They have cycled over 8500 km and still going. It was very nice to talk to you. Good luck on your continued adventure.

I did it. First the Southeast coast trail, then the South coast trail and now the Kattegatt trail

20220827-20220828. Day 27-28
Left Chris in Varberg today to cycle north towards Gothenburg. Hard to leave my friend Chris but we'll see each other again. He is cycling south in a few days. I finally ended up at a campsite Camp Gressela below Kungsbacka. Have difficulty with campsites where showers are not included in the price. I cycle on towards Gothenburg tomorrow, Monday.

A gray day also in Bua harbor today

20220824-20220826. Day 24-26
Chris and I have remained in Varberg the whole time. We have mostly existed. The beach, ice cream and coffee. The weather has been sunny and fine the whole time.

Getterön's unofficial nudist

Swedish fika, coffeefe and cinnamon roll

New investment. Now people will hear me

20220822-23. Days 22-23
We have remained at the campsite. Will probably stay here until Thursday, maybe Friday. A few photos of what we've been up to, apart from just existing. Which is the best of all. I have also received help to change gear cables at Cykelverkstaden no:1 here in Varberg, can highly recommend them, very nice people.

Chris does his morning yoga

Up by the fort in Varberg

Chris is working and drinking coffee at the café

Water is life

20220821. Day 21
Today I cycled up to Varberg. Taken to a campsite there, Agrell's cottages and camping which I highly recommend. Small, quiet and cozy. Chris, who I got to know up in Härnösand, has also come there. Very nice to meet him again.

Left is right

Coffe break in Glomma, but no pedofile icecream for me thanks!!!
Pedofile symbols

So fuckin nice to see you again Chris

20220820. Day 20
I'm at Vilshärad's campsite today and I'm posting pictures on my website, from 7 days ago and up to today's date. Sorry it took so long, but Wolfgang and I had too much fun. So today I sat in a warm tent.....

Looks like I need a shave!

20220819. Day 19
Time to leave Tina and Ralf. I hope we can see each other again. Good luck with your trip back to Germany. Hug Enso and Dino from me. Wolfgang and I also go in different directions. I return to Kattegattleden further north. And Wolfgang will travel around Sweden in his bus. We meet again. Thanks a million for some unforgettable days!

Everything will be fine Enso!

Little cute Dino in the background

Coffefe!

20220818. Day 18
Rest day at Tina and Ralf's. A wonderful dinner in the evening again. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality!

20220817. Day 17
Today we cycled inland about 50 km. To Wolfgang's friends Tina and Ralf, and the dogs Dino and Enso. Wonderful people that I hope to meet again.

We helped a young Frenchman, Gustaf, with his front brake. He had cycled all the way from Paris to here. He was on his way to Gothenburg. Hope it went well for you!

20220815. Day 15
Today Wolfgang and I cycled from Helsingborg to Ängelholm. In Helsingborg, the Sydkustleden is changed to the Kattigattleden. Which turns out to be a wonderful trail too. If not the best. So far.

We took a long coffee break at Grandma Olga's Cafè in Ängelholm

Wolfgang has competed in both enduro and mountain bike. Very skilled on the bike

The tent site was at a beach volleyball court by the sea. LOL

20220814. Day 14
Today I cycled from Lomma to Helsingborg. Met a cyclist outside Barsebäck, Wolfgang from Germany. It turned out that we cycled together for several days and are probably friends for life.

The island of Ven

20220813. Day 13
Today I cycled from Skanör Falsterbo to Lomma. Can't say it enough, love these bike trails. The Southeast Coast trail and the South Coast trail.

In Sweden, cows walk on water

My tent place in Lomma

20220812. Day 12
Today I cycled from Smygehuk to Skanör Falsterbo. A woman came to the same tent site as me in the evening, Tabita from Germany, who is cycling by herself along the coast of Sweden for a few weeks . (If you're reading this Tabita, please contact me. I'd love to hear how your trip went). It was a nice evening with other people also showing up at the tent site.

The Öresund Bridge in the distance

The tent site for tonight

20220811. Day 11
Today I cycled from Ystad to Smygehuk, Sweden's southernmost tip.

The tent site for tonight

20220810. Day 12
I am still in Ystad. Some photos from the day.

Same tent site as yesterday

20220809. Day 11
Today I have been at Ystad most of the day. Nothing special happened today. But I love the beautiful city of Ystad. It is very difficult, at least for me, to find free tent sites around Ystad. But I found a beautiful spot on the west side of town.

20220808. Day 10
Cycled to Ystad today. First on the Sydostleden, and then on the Sydkustleden. Can highly recommend the Sydostleden. Very nice. Finally ended up in a small boring tent site. Have been here before with the mobile home but they have ruined it with parking fees between 08:00 and 20:00. But I have a tent.....

20220807. Day 9
Cycled down to Kivik today. A very beautiful stretch when you follow the South East Trail (Sydostleden). I found a free tent site next to Kivik's mustery.

Helge å

20220806. Day 8
Almost cycled to Kristianstad today. Asked the landowner if it was okay to camp in the grove. No problem. Not much forest here. It was a tiring day with a huge headwind.

20220805. Day 7
I stayed and rested for a day at Stärnö's sea bath. Some photos from the day.

20220804. Day 6
Today I cycled to Stärnö havsbad outside Karlshamn. I probably found the tent site of my life. Met some very nice people during today's bike ride. A very nice man I met at the sea bath had many good tips. His name was Bert.

20220803. Day 5
Today I cycled to Knösön's sea bath in Karlskrona. There weren't that many photos today. Met a nice woman at the bath who had a lot to tell about her life. She came from the former Yugoslavia in the 1960s. She longed to go back now that she was a little older. Some photos.

I found a place under an old oak tree

20220802. Day 4.
Today I cycled off the island. I took the ferry to the mainland. Since then, I've had pretty boring cycling with mostly farmland. So there were only three mobile photos. I am now outside Halltorp on my way more towards Karlskrona.

The ferry to Kalmar arrives

There was a place in the forest today. A rather badly used forest

202200801. Day 3.
Today I cycled from Lyckesand to Stora Rör. Have found a nice tent site for the night. Tomorrow it will be the ferry over to the mainland. A few pictures from today's bike ride.

I found a nice tent site by the sea outside Stora Rör

The pasta is waiting to fill my stomach

20220730 - 31. Day 1 - 2.
Now I have started a new journey, or the journey continues. Went with my older son and family down to Öland. I have been here for a few days and am about to cycle down to Skåne. Then we'll see what happens. Here are some pictures from Öland.

Lyckesands nude beach

20220715
Is at home with my oldest son Jonathan and my grandson Vide, and helps a little. Among other things, to build a farm for the future hens.

Day 32. 20220706
Now I have moved from Hedesunda to Sala. Back to the start. I am now standing in the woods not far from a lake. Have picked some blueberries for breakfast.

Day 31. 20220705
I am still resting today at the fricamping in Hedesunda. T-alcohol was gone, so I finally got to fire in my bushbox. The blueberries have come too.
https://wildbounds.com/products/bushbox-xl-combination-kit

Day 30. 20220704
Cycled down to Hedesunda and managed to find a fricamping by Dalälven. Very beautiful place. Very boring cycling today. Straight roads, no branch and very heavy traffic. Cycled enough with a little panic, because it was 140 km today.

Joel closed his eyes on everyone Linn looked forward to

Day 29. 20220702 Cycled further down to Ljusne. The legs no longer wanted. Took in at Ljusnefors caping. Very nice, quiet place. A family from Switzerland that runs it. My youngest son Joel and Linn came and visited, as it is not that far away from them, according to them (180 km)

Nudelake in Swedish. Finally you can swim naked

Wilderness campsites. Will not be camping there again

Day 28. 20220701
Left Mellanfjärden and cycled further south. Some photos from the cycling. Did not become many, because it was the worst rainy weather I have experienced in my entire life. So there was a panic intake at Ångersjön's wilderness campsite.

Day 27. 20220630
Some pictures from Mellanfjärden where I stand on the campsite overnight. It was 46 km cycling today. Absolutely perfect. The legs were on another planet today.

Lots of haze coming in

Day 26. 20220629

Today I have turned south again. It was nothing more this time. Will write about why then. Have cycled with sadness and disappointment today, so it was 100 km on the bike. Feeling a little better this evening. Has ended up at Bergafjärden's campsite below Sundsvall. Will continue to post pictures and write in the blog. For my journey does not end here. There is more cycling, I hope and Treriksröset we will have to take another time.

Day 21. 20220624

Met two wonderful guys that I hung out with for a few days. Chris Nolte who cycled from the Black Forest in Germany and all the way here. Is on the way up to Lofoten in Norway, and then back to Germany again. No a bad trip. Tim walking with his backpack. Has, among other things, hiked the High Coast trail. Really happy to have met your guys, and got to know you a little. Hope to see you again.

Day 20. 20220623
Have taken a long trip around Härnösand in the countryside today. It was about 65 km. Not many photos taken at all. Just enjoyed the bike ride. Managed to get local honey in the end.

Day 19. 20220622

Today, absolutely no shit has happened. Have just been to the tent and existed. Absolutely wonderful.

A real paradise, close to Smitingen's hvsbad

Day 18. 20220621

Is still in Härnösand. I just took one photo today on the bike ride in the sun.

Day 17. 20220620

Today, not a shit happened. Very nice at the tent only. Just as it should be sometimes. Maybe I'm moving a little north tomorrow?

Hard to see, but it is located at the wind turbine above the ski slope

Day 16. 20220619

Very bad weather so I was mostly at the campsite. Took a bike ride in town one turn. Took two pictures of Vårdkasen's lookout from below.

Hello there

Day 15. 20220618

Last day up on the lookout. Were just a few photos of a butterfly up here today.

Took me down to Sälsten's camping in the evening, where I stand now.

It was full of Macaw butterflies up there.

I love butterflies, amazingly beautiful

A fine Lupine

Day 14. 20220617

Spent the day up at Vårdkasen's lookout. Will come to why I stayed there for two days later, probably. Some photos from the lookout.

The view from the tent

Day 13. 20220616

Today I went up to Vårdkasen's lookout tower. All alpine slopes and so up here. A very beautiful view. Stay up here overnight and watch the sunset. Had to push the bike up all the way, way too steep for me.

Day 12. 20220615

Today I only cycled a short distance, about 15 km. Took me to Härnösand and down to the sea, where there was a dip in 14 degree water. Nice afterwards. Stayed at an unmanned campsite that was next door. Some pictures from Smitingen's sea bath.

Had a pretty nice view from my lunch spot

Day 11. 20220614

Today I cycled between Timrå and Härnösand. Biked wrong so it was about 60 km, mostly uphill. Met another cyclist who does not come that far from my hometown Sala, he came from Surahammar. He had made the same mistake. He had an electric bicycle, so he disappeared into the distance. I filled water with a very nice man. We talked for another hour. I would not have met him if I had not cycled "wrong". Very happy that I got to meet him. Here are some photos from the road

Now stands on a rather boring turning plane along the road about 7 km outside Härnösand. Will sleep like a log.

Outside Kvissleby

A bridge in Sundsvall

Day 10. 20220613

Today I cycled between Rönnhamn and a little above Timrå. I've taken it easy. Lots of forest in the beginning, then came the big city Sundsvall. Never gave me into it, but have cycled a trail outside. But it takes a long time to get past it. Then comes Timrå. So I set up my tent by the water right next to an old soccer field. The legs could no longer bear it. So there were not so many photos today.

Day 9. 20220612

Today I took it even calmer than yesterday. There were only a couple of photos from the place where I ate. Most forest for the most part. Rained to and from all day.

Ended up on a beach today again, near Rönnhamn. I got a tip about it from a man who lived nearby. Today it was not as warm and nice as yesterday.

Rested a bit by a beautiful lake

The nice little town Bergsjö

Day 8. 20220611

Today I cycled between Strömbacka and Mellanfjärd on the east coast. Took it very easy today. Went in and got water in a couple of places and had some nice chats with wonderful people. Spent an hour in Bergsjö, very beautiful small town. Very nice people who made me feel welcome there. Some photos from the day.

Found a very nice tent site at a bathing place above Mellanfjärd. It was sunny and warm all evening.

Järvsö church by Ljusnan

Dellen lake outside Delsbo

One picture from Moviken's harbor at northern Dellen

Day 7. 20220610

Cycled from Järvsö up a few miles above Delsbo called Strömbacka. Here are some photos from the trip. Were not so many as it rained most of the time, but it was hot summer rain.

Day 6. 20220609

Today is a day of rest. You can read all about it in the blog that I post during the day. Some pictures from the bathing place in Järvsö where I stand. Out on a nature reserve.

Day 5. 20220608

Some pictures were taken between Gruvberget and Järvsö. There were not so many pictures today. A little bad weather, and I ended up in some sort of stress.

A picture outside Gruvberget towards Bollnäs. Have stayed about 10 km outside Gruvberget. It is not a beautiful tent site, so no picture today. It was going to start raining so it turned out the way it did. Will start writing in the blog any day, maybe tomorrow. Will apparently be cycling in the rain tomorrow. Remains to be seen.

Turned off Sverigeleden in Svartnäs and took a gravel road over to Gruvberget. Very nice gravel road. And very long straight stretches sometimes.

Ate my food at a bathing place in Svartnäs. Filled water up by the church.

It was a very nice road to cycle on. Very little traffic. But far too much forest has been cut down. This is from the top.

Day 4. 20220607

Today it was time for a little climbing. Cycled from Svärdsjö to Gruvberget. Some pictures of it, but it is barely visible in the photo. I got to walk the bike up a hill. I did not get it in the picture. I took it very calmly and it went better than I had thought. Think it was harder between Falun and Sundborn.

I hope it went well for you Fabian and Lotta, if you are reading this.

Got tips about a nice bathing place, Höganäs. Just outside Svärdsjö when I was at the museum. Here I am now. Met a couple who are out cycling like me, Fabian and Lotta from Karlskrona. Very nice to talk to them for a while. We may be seen up at Treriksröset. They told me that it is 15 km of climbing that starts right after the bathing place. They climbed it today. I'll probably do it tomorrow. Do not know if I look forward to it? Also met a very nice man at ica here in Svärdsjö. Thanks for the chat.

Turned in at a veteran car museum in Svärdsjö and took a cup of coffee and a cinnamon bun. Very nice place.

Some other photos. There were many small stops today.

Day 3. 20220606

Some pictures after the cycling between Falun and Svärdsjö. Lugnet's ski jump in Falun, among other places. It was not such a long distance today. It was a lot of climbing.

Today's tent site was at a bathing place by a lake outside Falun. It was the first real bath of the year as well

Day 2. 20220605

A couple of pictures after today's cycling between Garpenberg and Falun.

Now I have stayed in the forest between Garpenberg and Olshyttan for the night. I cycled 70 km today. Have never climbed so much in my entire life. It is felt in the legs when the bike is fully loaded.

Stopped and ate some food by a lake.

I follow the green signs the Sweden trail. Will see how it goes?

Day 1. 20220604

Let's go north guys. As a wise man named Rasta Mokko says: No fuckery! The sun is shining and the bike is packed and ready.

The last night before I cycled north, my youngest son Joel and his fiancée Linn came out to the forest and visited. We grilled some sausages and had a nice evening. And to fight the mosquitoes.

Sitting in the tent waiting for the food to be ready. Fairly worn after today's cycling in the rain. But a nice feeling of being tired.

Now I have cycled to Sala. I'm a little out of town in the woods. Will visit my mother tomorrow. Then on Saturday it will be to continue north

Went to Sahlberg's bike shop and got new parts for my bike today. Thank you so much Per and Tobbe, from the bottom of my heart for what you did for me today. You are worth gold. I wish you all the best.

Some pictures from my bike ride in Västerås today. You can get everywhere via bike lanes. I love birds. Will probably be a separate page in the gallery about animals in the future.

A fieldfare outside my tent.

The marina in Västerås.

View from the campsite's bridge. Västerås silhouette.

The tent is set up at the campsite in Västerås. This will be my place until Thursday. Went to Sahlberg's bike shop today and the parts are ready to be put on the bike on Wednesday. Other gear ring at the back so I get lighter gears. New chain and a new gear shifter and a little more stuff.

Slept by the lake again on my way to Västerås. Veils on the lake when I woke up in the morning.

Last night I slept in a forest, near a bird lake. There was a lot of birdsong until nightfall, and at dawn. It was 80 km on the bike that day. A little too far this early in the season for me. It will probably take a while before the saddle becomes comfortable. And Brooks B17 Narrow Imperial. There was some pain in the ass

A small stream along the road ....

The third night I pitched my tent by a lake.

I can get all the bags into the tent.

The tent set up at my oldest son. A Robens Bolder 2 dome tent.

First test of the bike and equipment May 16-20. It was very heavy. Also lacked handelbars and a kickstand. It's fixed now.
